The day-to-day running of the company is now in the experienced hands of Raymond’s son, Martin Rapley, who has ambitious plans to ensure that Yelcon continues to grow as one of the region’s most respected developers. An exciting example of this visionary approach is the recent aquistion of developer Camstead Homes – which since 1995 has created many prestigious new developments across Cambridge and the Eastern region.

The company’s commitment to providing high quality homes is demonstrated by its membership of the NHBC (National House Builders Council) which has awarded Yelcon a top rating for building standards. This means all purchasers can feel secure in the knowledge that Yelcon’s construction work is covered by a comprehensive ten year NHBC certificate, and the company’s directors regularly visit the sites during construction to ensure that Yelcon’s standards of excellence are constantly maintained.
